What is amalgam filling?
Amalgam is a dental filling material used to fill cavities caused by tooth decay.
and from what is made of?
It's made of liquid (elementary) mercury and a powdered alloy composed of silver, tin and copper.
Instruments :
On the dentist's tray :
- Exam kit's instruments (Mouth mirror,probe, perio probe,tweezers)
- Plugger or condenser

- Carver ( One side is flat and the other side is ponted)

*Wide matrix band is for molars
